Cosgrove's Umbrella (2002)

This is the first game I published on the internet, and the first game I created for anything besides a TI-83 calculator. I created it with Game Maker sometime between 7th and 8th grade. It has a lot of old-school platform features, such as passworded levels, worlds separated by bosses, and collectable bonuses. You play as a green blob named Cosgrove. You can collect "glob" and attack enemies with it as you wander through the obstacles. There's even an exciting story line of some kind!

Prof. Mark Overmars featured this game on the official Game Maker website for a few years after its release. Although it's now an artifact, people bother me every time I try and take it down.

Everything in it is original and was crafted by my tiny middle school hands.
