Nocturne for Two (2008)

In the fall of our sophomore year, a few friends and I decided to enter the CampusMovieFest program, for which they gave us a camera, some software, and two weeks to create a five-minute film.

We decided to make a silent film, so Lucas Johnson and I wrote, performed, and recorded a soundtrack for piano, accordion, and pipe organ. The music incorporates themes for the various characters, and the recording turned out relatively well given that we had only two microphones.

Our film was shown on the big screen in front of a crowd of classmates. You can watch it (it's exactly 5 minutes long) using the link on the right.
